An intervention started in May and completed July, 2022. Ayo was badly circumcised by a quack nurse which led to infection and the need for surgery. JESA future foundation & Budding Leaders Empowerment Initiative (BUDLEIN) were informed and both Non-Govermental organizations sourced and provided funds for the care of the child. The surgery to correct the damaged organ was successfully carried out at the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Ayo can now grow up to live a normal and happy life.
